Subject Tutorials
Subject tutorials have a long tradition at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics. In the tutorials, students with technical and didactic training provide advanced course content and practical orientation. You can attend the tutorials without prior registration. The tutorials that are offered in the current semester can be found in the course catalog in the online portal. Please note that the schedule may be updated and adjusted on an ongoing basis.
Repetitories
Repetitories were offered for the first time in SS 12. Qualified repetitors support small learning groups on the topic "how do I learn best", often with reference to specific examinations and written exams. This offer is primarily aimed at students in their 2nd and 3rd attempt. The aim of the revision courses is to support students with greater difficulties in preparing for exams. Attendance of the revision courses is only possible after prior registration - please note the remark in the course catalog.

An Examinations Board is formed for the organization of the examinations and the tasks assigned by the examination regulations. The Examinations Board is an independent body of the Hochschule Niederrhein and an authority in the sense of the Administrative Procedure and Administrative Process Law. It consists of the chairperson, the deputy chairperson and five other members. The chairman, the deputy chairman and two other members are elected from among the professors, one member from among the academic staff and two members from among the students by the responsible faculty council. With the exception of the Chair and Vice-Chair, one representative is also elected for each member of the Examinations Board. The term of office of the members working full-time at the university and their representatives is four years, that of the student members and their representatives one year. Re-election is permitted.
The Examinations Board of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics is responsible for all Degree Programmes of the Faculty, except the Career-Integrated Degree Programmes.
The joint Faculty Examinations Board for the Career-Integrated Degree Programmes in Business Administration, Business Law (B.A.), Business Law (LL.B.) and Business Law (LL.M.) and for the tasks assigned by the examination regulations of these degree programmes has been appointed by the participating universities as a joint examination board.
