The Hochschule Niederrhein, with currently 14,215 students, is one of the largest and most efficient universities of applied sciences in Germany, with campuses in Krefeld and Mönchengladbach. Thanks to problem- and transfer-oriented research, it is an innovative driving force for companies in the region and ensures that our society can approach challenges well prepared.
Studying today: The regular duration of study is currently 3 years for most Bachelor Degree programmes. The exact duration of the studies is directly related to the ECTS points to be earned. These points of the European Credit Transfer System evaluate the effort put into the studies, whereby one ECTS point stands for approx. 30 working hours. A total of 180 ECTS are required for the Bachelor of Arts Sales and Marketing. The aim of the system is to present academic achievements in a uniform and comparable manner within the EU. In this way, we can guarantee that our graduates are best prepared for their international journey. However, the ECTS points do not say anything about your child's performance - this is evaluated in classical grades during the studies. All grades awarded for academic achievements are finally included in the final grade.
Our Degree programme Sales and Marketing, is subject to an admission restriction according to the NC procedure, as not all applicants can be admitted if there are more applications than places. Available places are awarded to the high school graduates with the best average grades.
Nevertheless, we would like to ask you, dear parents: do not be deterred! The NC procedure serves as an orientation, your child should therefore not leave an application untried and rather understand the NC as a learning motivation.
