The Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology offers Bachelor's degree programmes in Textile and Clothing Technology, Design Engineering and Textile and Clothing Management.

If you would like to get to know our faculties personally, you are welcome to visit us during school hours. We will organize a varied morning for you and your pupils.

The program could look like this, for example

• 08:45 a.m. - Arrival in the foyer of building G (Webschulstr. 31)
• 09:00 a.m. - Presentation of our Degree programmes
• 09:45 a.m. - Guided tour of our faculties and the MG campus
• 10:30 a.m. - Workshop
• 12:30 p.m. - End of the event

Dear pupils,

Here you will find our range of open lectures to which we would like to welcome you in order to familiarize you with everyday life at our faculty. You are welcome to attend these lectures free of charge. If you register your visit, we will send you all the important information in advance, such as a campus map, and will also inform you at short notice if the lecture is canceled.

A special insight into our projects:

Are you and your pupils interested in what our students in Textile and Clothing Technology are currently researching and what they are working on in these subject areas?

In the 5th semester projects , our students spend a semester working on specific interdisciplinary and sometimes international tasks. The students gain valuable practical experience in this special course, as they work on the problems of real clients under industry-related conditions.

We would like to invite you to our final presentation. This takes place once a year in January and offers the opportunity to gain a brief insight into the respective project topics and work.

Hochschule Niederrhein opens its doors on Boys Day and invites you to gain an insight into the Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology. The faculties offer a wide range of opportunities and deal not only with fashion, clothing and home textiles, but also with the entire process "from fiber to product".

This also includes technical textiles, which are used in various areas such as automotive and aviation technology, in the construction industry or in protective clothing for the fire department, police, military or BC protection. They also include smart textiles and wearables.
