Team 05 from the Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology at Hochschule Niederrhein developed specialized workwear for the electrical trade. The aim was to develop an item of clothing that meets the safety requirements and impresses with its innovative design.

The result of this project assignment includes the development of functional dungarees with integrated LEDs that can be operated by voice control. In order to ensure functionality and safety, the materials used were specifically tailored to the requirements in the skilled trades sector and tested for certain quality parameters. In addition, a communication concept was created in the form of a booklet explaining the benefits of the solution. A process film was also produced over the course of the entire project, showing the various work steps and processes within our group.
