Project team 08, consisting of eight students from the Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology at the Hochschule Niederrhein in Mönchengladbach, is working with FEMNET e.V. to develop educational materials on possible future scenarios for the clothing industry. The foundation course for this is the question of where it could be in 25 years' time in terms of ecological and social factors. The team works out the research results visually and digitally creates two hidden object pictures and two collages, for each of which a story is also written down in a storytelling format. These elaborations are supplemented and explained in a written manual with scientifically sound background information. The aim is to use these results to develop teaching materials for future workshops to sensitize young people aged 12 to 18 to the global interrelationships of the economy using the example of the clothing industry.

The work of the project team shows that serious and sometimes complex issues can be illustrated and made tangible for young people through creative elaboration and narrative approaches.

The goal of the project has been achieved through the completion of the hidden object pictures and collages, the handbook and the four storytellings.
