How can politics, administration and city actors be inspired to adopt new appreciative perspectives on inner city development? Baukultur NRW, the competence centre SOUND of the Hochschule Niederrhein and freischwimmer e.V. invite to an exchange about experience reports, thought patterns and options for action. The symposium "The third look - a plea for hidden urban space potentials" offers space to debate and philosophize as well as to explore practical approaches to action. The focus is on the will to create together.
The event will take place on Friday (June 30, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) on the club grounds of freischwimmer e.V. (Gerberstrasse 55, 47798 Krefeld). Participation is free of charge. Interested parties can register by June 26, 2023.
The symposium is part of the urban space festival urbanorama°, which opens up opportunity spaces for aesthetic formats that touch and enable multifaceted experiences. From June 23 to July 9, 2023, urbanorama° will showcase Krefeld's expanded city center from a design perspective, emphasizing the experience of a living city in the here and now.
