Job application training, help for better self-motivation and organization, tips for professional presentations, rhetorical skills or a successful work-life balance: At the Summer Academy of the Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR), everyone can train soft skills. Students, employees and external interested parties can participate in more than 35 seminars - online and face-to-face - from September 11 to 23. The registration phase starts today, August 1.
Among the offerings of the Summer Academy under the motto "Hochschule Niederrhein qualifies further" are topics such as conflict management, Excel for advanced learners or "Rhetoric: Dirty Tricks". Here, participants learn how manipulation occurs through linguistic and non-verbal forms of expression and what argumentative persuasion and persuasion strategies are available.
The Summer Academy also offers special courses for individual target groups such as first-year students, people with professional qualifications, and women.

When: September 11 to 23. All seminars take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: online or on site at the Krefeld and Mönchengladbach locations.
Cost:
- for HSNR students €10 for a one-day seminar or €15 for a two-day seminar
- for HSNR staff €20 (1 day) or €40 (2 days)
- for externals at €50 (1 day) or €100 (2 days).
The online meet & greet "5 Pillars of Happiness: How to actively forge your own happiness" on September 13 is free for all.
