Design Discussion is dedicated to the topic of "borders"

The Hochschule Niederrhein's (HSNR) 94th edition of the Design Discussion will focus on the topic of "Borders". On Thursday, November 28, Professor Dr. Erik Schmid will discuss the topic with Nora Gummert-Hauser from 8 pm at Fabrik Heeder (Virchowstraße 130). Admission is free.

Gummert-Hauser is a professor of typography and editorial design at the Faculty of Design at HSNR. Together they will talk about the connection between design and politics. Nora Gummert-Hauser has repeatedly dealt with this topic in her design work. Her works reflect historical and social issues, revolutions, cultures and border shifts between countries.

The finissage of the exhibition "Politopics" by Prof. Nora Gummert-Hauser will also take place in the porter's lodge of the Heeder factory from 5:30 pm on this evening. Interested visitors will find designer interventions and commentaries on current political events from at least a century ago.
