On February 7 and 8, 2025, the Faculty of Design invites you to a faculty exhibition. Students and graduates will present their semester and theses at the Krefeld West campus (Frankenring 20) of The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR).
On Friday evening (February 7, 6 to 10 p.m.), the two-day faculty exhibition will kick off with a vernissage and graduate celebration. Visitors can also view the students' work on Saturday (February 8, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.): From typography, editorial, motion, digital design, lead and screen printing to 3D printing as well as numerous product ideas from the Project and Object Design degree program. Living Paintings (live staged paintings) will also be on display from 7 to 9 pm.
"I am delighted that the designkrefeld-Werkschau, which takes place twice a year, is increasingly becoming a visitor magnet for culture, business, the city and the region," says Professor Dr. Erik Schmid, Dean of the Faculty of Design at HSNR.
The communication and product design show will be complemented by a diverse supporting program consisting of lectures, workshops, portfolio advisory services for prospective students as well as campus and exhibition tours. On Saturday, prospective students can come to the Shedhalle at 2 p.m. for individual portfolio advisory services. Admission to the faculty exhibition is free.
