"City Life" is the theme of the 89th expenditure of the Design Discussion. On Thursday (November 30, 2023), host Dr. Erik Schmid (Faculty of Design at The Hochschule Niederrhein) will discuss this topic together with his guests Yurika Heyer, Jonas Eiker and Tim Hoppe. The Hochschule Niederrhein's Faculty of Design (HSNR) and the City of Krefeld's Cultural Office invite you to Fabrik Heeder (Virchowstraße 130, 47805 Krefeld). The event starts at 8 pm. Admission is free.
The guests are three young Krefeld residents who have jointly founded "Eäte.Drenke.Danze" and "Krieewel erleäweins". Under the slogan "Created to change the city", they have already transformed neglected squares into lively festivals on several occasions. This requires not only the drive to get things done, but also a love of the city.
Schmid talks to the guests about new guidelines for post-pandemic events and how to design events, for example. They will also discuss consumption-free spaces, associations, networks and administration.
