The Hochschule Niederrhein's Faculty of Business Administration and Economics received a visit from a delegation from the Karazin Business School in Kharkiv/Ukraine at the end of April. Yuliia Kvitka (professor and head of the International Office), Yuliia Prus (professor of management topics), Anton Kvitka (professor of business informatics) and Denys Davidov (professor and director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Karazin Business School) spent four days in Mönchengladbach.
The program included cooperation talks with various colleagues from the faculty, guest lectures in the courses International Management, Macroeconomics, Procurement Management; Marketing and Intercultural Communication. There were also visits to the CyberCampus in the Monforts Quarter, the DigiLab and the Podcast Studio as well as the faculty's GEMIT Institute. There was also a design dash workshop organized by the HNX start-up team and the management of the NIERS research institute.
The guests were very impressed by the variety of offers and saw many opportunities for future cooperation.
The visit was organized by lecturers Sarah Keeler and Martin Wenke. Both were impressed by the positive attitude of their colleagues, whose day-to-day teaching in the frontline city of Kharkiv, where the university infrastructure is currently completely destroyed, is carried out exclusively online.
Incidentally, the visit was initiated by a guest student from Kharkiv, who had obviously had a very good experience at The Hochschule Niederrhein during the previous winter semester on the Bachelor Sales and Marketing degree program.
