At The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) you can not only study, but also complete an apprenticeship. On September 01, ten young people started their vocational training at the university. This year, HSNR is training in the following five apprenticeships: Electronics technician for operating technology, IT specialist in the field of application development, chemical laboratory technician, cutting machine operator and office management assistant.
University Chancellor Dr. Fabienne Köller-Marek welcomed the trainees to the Krefeld South Campus. Afterwards, they got to know each other and their trainers. In the afternoon, a rally on the campus grounds was on the agenda to familiarize themselves with the location. "The apprenticeship at the Hochschule Niederrhein takes place in a diverse and dynamic environment. Not only apprentices learn something here for their future careers, but also numerous young people who study at one of the ten faculties," says Claudia Pohlen, training coordinator at the university.
HSNR is a recognized training company and offers a total of seven apprenticeships in various industrial-technical, scientific and commercial professions. Depending on the occupation, the apprenticeship takes place in the workshops, laboratories, libraries and in the administration. The Hochschule Niederrhein regularly ranks among the best training companies of the Mittlerer Niederrhein Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
