120 years of designkrefeld - that's how long the Faculty of Design at The Hochschule Niederrhein, whose apprenticeship opens up a wide range of career opportunities for students after graduation, has been in existence. This will be celebrated with an anniversary week from July 23 to 27.
After kicking off with the opening of the KOMMKOMMKOMM exhibition, the week will continue on Tuesday, July 23 with two events. At 5.30 p.m., the "Design Summer Market" will take place in the garden and shed hall of Campus West, Frankenring 20, where students from the fields of communication, product and object design will present their own unique pieces, handicrafts and design objects. Among other things, you can buy jewelry and glassware, printed T-shirts, porcelain and ceramic works as well as pictures and postcards with graphic illustrations. The market is organized and run by the designkrefeld faculty student body. Visitors are cordially invited to browse at their leisure.
At 7 pm, there will be a house concert in the Shedhalle of the Krefeld West campus with designkrefelder:innen performing on piano, guitar & co. Admission is free.
Registration for both events is not necessary.
