Minister Brandes attends meeting of university councils at the HS Niederrhein

The working group of university council chairpersons of the universities of applied sciences (HAW) in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) met today, Tuesday, at The Hochschule Niederrhein in Krefeld. The committee meets twice a year to discuss current issues in the higher education sector. In addition to the participants from the university councils, Ina Brandes, Minister for Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), was also a guest this time. Among other things, the Minister reported on the number of new students in NRW and the current status of the amendment to the NRW Higher Education Act.

Dr. Armin Knors, Chairman of the University Council of The Hochschule Niederrhein, is also Deputy Spokesman of the Working Group of University Council Chairmen of the Universities of Applied Sciences in NRW.
