The Hochschule Niederrhein's Faculty of Business Administration and Economics continues to focus intensively on the topic of managers. Following the publication of a study on employer attractiveness last year, the current Master's course "Human Resource Management II" is currently looking at the future requirements for managers in Germany.

The rapid changes in the world have direct consequences for companies and their management. After reviewing current studies and publications, the students, under the direction of Professor Dr. Alexander Cisik, have identified a number of personality traits, competencies and behaviors that appear to be necessary for successfully mastering the leadership challenges of the future.

Now the students would like to know what employees in Germany think. How important are the identified personality traits, competencies and behaviors for their direct managers? To what extent are managers already living these personality traits, competencies and behaviors today?
