Experiencing technology for young and old: successful series of events continues

The successful event series "Technical knowledge for grandparents and other inquisitive minds" will be continued and expanded in 2025. A total of six dates are planned, each consisting of a lecture and a practical experiment. The topic "The fascination of electricity" will kick things off with a lecture on Wednesday, February 19, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., followed by a practical session on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

The lectures are aimed in particular at grandparents and interested adults and convey technical and scientific foundation courses in an easily understandable form. The aim is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge to be able to pass on complex interrelationships to (grand)children in a clear way.

The practical part focuses on intergenerational experiences: grandparents, parents and children from the age of six can discover technology together in a playful way. Through interactive experiments, participants experience scientific phenomena up close and in a relaxed atmosphere.

Participation in the events is free of charge. Registration is required due to limited places. Interested parties can register now for the first two dates.
