At the beginning of the new year, prospective students at the Hochschule Niederrhein can find out about the wide range of study options. From January 16 to February 3, the study orientation weeks will take place at the Krefeld and Mönchengladbach campuses as well as online. As part of this, there will be numerous events on the programmes on offer at all ten faculties.
The agenda includes the campus days of the faculties and digital workshops, lectures and the opportunity for individual counseling. In addition to the specialist offerings, pupils can also attend information events on general topics such as applications or financing.
At the campus days, the individual faculties invite students to a large program. Prospective students can take a look at laboratories, workshops and campus facilities. At workshops and lectures, those interested can immerse themselves in the content of the studies. Current students also frequently report on their everyday lives.
The mechanical engineering faculties also offer digital offerings. "Ingenieur:innen für Umweltschutz und eine bessere Zukunft" (Engineers for environmental protection and a better future) or "Der Wetterbericht als Muster: Wie mit Software Strömungsvorgänge in der Industrie nachhaltiger werden" (The weather report as a model: How software can make flow processes in industry more sustainable) are just some of the online offerings.
The advisors at the Central Student Advice Center of the Hochschule Niederrhein also offer a general program online. The ArbeiterKind.de initiative and the Federal Employment Agency also provide digital advice for those interested.
