The Support Office for Occupational Health and Safety supports the members of the HSNR in the implementation of the statutory compulsory requirements.

To this end, the Support Office operates an occupational health and safety and environmental protection management system (AGUM), which highlights all occupational health and safety issues.

Furthermore, the Support Office offers regular training and courses, often also with external training partners, e.g. for first aid in the company.

The basic instruction (e-learning) on the topics of occupational safety and fire protection can be found in Moodle. Please submit the certificate of instruction to your supervisor and repeat it after one year.

AGUM stands here for Occupational, Health and Environmental Management and represents a process-oriented management system. It supports the members of the HSNR in fulfilling their rights and compulsories in occupational health and safety and describes the relevant processes and interrelationships.

The system is located on the server of the AGUM association. The access identification is done via the IP addresses of the HSNR. Access from outside is only possible via VPN.

• AGUM and online risk assessment (GBU) - introduction to the AGUM system; use of the risk assessment database to create the GBU
• Occupational health precaution (Krefeld) - for lecturers and employees at VDU workplaces
• Occupational health care (Mönchengladbach) - for lecturers and employees at VDU workstations
• On-site occupationalhealth and safety consultation - assistance with risk assessments, operating instructions and occupational health issues
• Fire protection assistance training - fire occurrence, handling of fire extinguishers, evacuation assistance in case of fire
• First aid courses - behavior in case of injuries and accidents
