Lecture with Doc Esser: Mental health and resilience for men
To mark International Men's Day on the 19th of November, the Equal Opportunities Office is hosting a lecture evening with Doc Esser on the topic of men's health. The Mönchengladbach native, known from the WDR information program "Doc Esser - Der Gesundheits-Check", will explain on this evening whether the roots of happiness, health and resilience lie hidden in our childhood and how happiness and strokes of fate are connected. Can a glass sometimes be half empty or do you always have to deliver top performance? How much pressure is healthy and when does perfection make you ill? Visitors to The Hochschule Niederrhein can find out all this and more. A food truck from the Father & Son Burger and Soulfood Company will also be on hand to provide refreshments.
From 4 p.m., visitors can find out more about (men's) health at information stands.
Even though men are particularly in focus on this day, all genders are cordially invited to spend the evening with us.
Registration for the event is required by November 18
