Lisa Schmitt, research assistant at the SWK E² Institute, attended the International Staff Week at the UPT in Timisoara in June, where she presented The Hochschule Niederrhein and the SWK E² Institute of Energy Technology and Energy Management.
On June 5, representatives from universities and colleges around the world came together in Timișoara, the European Capital of Culture 2023. They included participants from Poland, Bulgaria, Portugal, Lithuania, Iceland, Mauritius and the Dominican Republic, who spent a week exchanging ideas, networking and training.
In addition to the presentation of the participating universities and colleges, there were workshops on stress management, promoting universities in Europe, project management with a focus on Erasmus+ and intercultural communication. We were also able to get to know the fantastic European Capital of Culture 2023, enjoy traditional food and learn more about Romanian history during a great city tour.
By exchanging experiences and participating in further training opportunities, everyone was able to expand their knowledge and horizons, make new contacts and find opportunities for international cooperation.
