New Recruiting
Finding and retaining qualified employees

Hochschule Niederrhein. Your way.
About the training

Finding and retaining qualified employees is proving to be a major problem for many companies and public employers. Only a few interested candidates respond to a job advertisement, and then often the wrong ones. Small and medium-sized companies in particular are hardly able to approach suitable candidates nationwide. The internet provides new recruitment channels that are often underutilized. In this course, we introduce new and unconventional forms of recruiting. You will learn which forms of application today's Generation Z prefers and how the company can adapt to this. Once the employment contract has been signed, it is important to retain the new employees. We therefore also present successful strategies for onboarding and induction. Based on the experiences of other organizations, you will learn where your company may still have some catching up to do. Finally, important future trends in recruiting will be presented. Among other things, we will examine the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in the future.

Three questions for the university teacher / lecturer:

Why is continuing education on "New Recruiting" currently of interest to many professionals?
Many companies are desperately looking for qualified employees. There are many job advertisements, but often unsuitable applications. In many cases, contact with suitable candidates is made via social networks, peer recommendations or direct approaches. Every company should be aware of the new, sometimes unconventional recruitment options for "Generation Z" and try out the most promising ways.

What are you particularly looking forward to at this training course?
Discussing the best recruitment methods with participants and hearing reports on best practices.

And what can the participants look forward to?
They will learn about new and sometimes unconventional ways of recruiting. They will benefit from the discussion and exchange of experiences within the group.
