Upon degree completion, participants will be able to:
- Recognize and differentiate characteristics and effects of ADHD in everyday school life in order to be able to specifically sponsor pupils with ADHD.
- Develop individual support plans for pupils with ADHD and implement them effectively in everyday school life.
- Apply pedagogical methods and strategies to adapt the learning environment for pupils with ADHD to their special needs and to promote their potential.
- Deal purposefully with behavioral problems and create a positive classroom climate to support the self-regulation of pupils with ADHD.
- To establish effective cooperation with parents and guardians of pupils with ADHD and to facilitate holistic support.
- To recognize the strengths and potential of pupils with ADHD and to provide targeted support in order to strengthen their participation in school life.
- To use the exchange of experience and networking with other teachers to share good practice in dealing with pupils with ADHD and to learn from each other.
- To use concrete recommendations for action and practical assistance to create an inclusive learning environment for pupils with ADHD and to support them as best as possible on their educational path.
