De-escalation - Confrontation - Consequence
De-escalation - Confrontation - Consequence
"No, I won't!" - This is how it sounds every day from millions of throats when children and young people in our schools are asked to adhere to the rules that have been set. When nagging voices are sawing at our nerves, it is important to stand up for the observance of the rules in a firm and consistent way, but also in a respectful and appreciative manner.
Easier said than done: How often do pupils get on our nerves, constantly overstep boundaries or break agreed rules with their rebellious behavior? In the seminar, difficult conflict situations are re-enacted in role plays and systematically trained:
Treatment and training of body language messages as well as verbal expressions of a consistent and appreciative teacher appearance.
The techniques of de-escalation are trained as well as how to get through confrontational conflicts. The knowledge practiced can already be used in the next lesson or during the next break supervision. Participation in the seminar requires the willingness to participate practically: doing instead of talking.
