In this continuing education programme, participants learn concepts and the use of modern network technology, with a particular focus on practical application in the modern data network laboratory.
The course covers the design and testing of modern corporate networks, network protocols in the TCP/IP environment, basic configuration of routers and switches, implementation of virtual LANs (VLANs), network operation and troubleshooting under IPv4 and IPv6, static and dynamic routing (RIP, OSPF, VLANs) for IPv4/IPv6, network operation with access lists, NAT and DHCP.
The basic course in network technology also prepares students for the external Cisco CCENT (ICND1) examination.
The seminar is divided into three parts: Basic Network Technology Course, Advanced Network Technology Course, Advanced Network Security Course. These can be completed individually or in combination.
