Climate change is obvious and no longer deniable. The outfit reflects the current challenges and the rapid rise in temperature. The colour areas, contrasts, materiality and cut design of the outfit communicate its statement. The red-orange trousers symbolise the increase in warm years, while the orange is repeated in the top and lining of the hood. The light and dark shades of blue are reminiscent of cooler years past and contrast with the orange. The complementary contrast of orange and blue enhances the colour effect and points to the urgency of the current issue. The light blue trousers over the orange ones symbolise the increasing melt water of the glaciers and cover parts of the orange trousers. The transparent insert reinforces this impression and allows the contrasting colours to merge. This fusion symbolises the inexorable progress of global warming. The graphene structure on a blue background in the longsleeve and under the sleeves of the hooded T-shirt shows how the warmth spreads from the bottom to the top and threatens to displace the last cold phases. The combination of softshell and tulle creates a further contrast that supports the outfit's statement and evokes associations with a warmer environment.
