The background to the project is the high accident rate on the way to school due to a lack of visibility in road traffic. Products such as high-visibility vests or garish neon clothing are rejected by the children, which is why the students set themselves the task of designing a product that the children would enjoy wearing. Team 09, consisting of nine students from different majors of the Department of Textile and Clothing Technology, developed a modular and multifunctional jacket, which increases visibility in road traffic due to its colorfulness and retroreflection. In addition to the UV-active colors, the special feature is the interchangeable pockets and accessories, so that the children can design the jacket according to their taste.
